is there going to be a tropical storm in destin florida over july 4th weekend?
im suppose to go on a week vacation and someone just called and told me it might have a storm. so if there is one, then what would be a good time to go in july? after all the storm and the beaches are nice again?
I live here in Florida near Destin and I just checked the Accuweather.com weather report and it is NOT predicting any tropical storms. What is predicted is a regular daily chance of showers and or brief thunderstorms, which usually amounts to a brief rain that doesn’t last long. This is normal and goes on ALL summer in Florida. It’s not enough to keep you from enjoying your vacation. Just bring an umbella. Also pay attention to the beach warning flags that tell you whether it’s okay to swim or not and, if there is lighting around, go inside. Otherwise, have a fantastic time! They shoot fireworks over the water on the 4th! Enjoy!
