EVERYONE PLEASE SPREAD THIS VIDEO SO THAT OUR BEACHES GET CLEANED PROPERLY. THE TRUTH NEEDS TO BE SHARED. The only thing that is being cleaned up is what is on the surface. . BP Oil spill Gulf of Mexico This is some footage of the first wave of oil that reached our shores here on Okaloosa Island.
The way I think in my mind is that I know better than to drill a hole on the Ocean seafloor because this is what you get. Oil Companys love to belittle people that tell them not to Drill in the ocean. Try and conversate with an oil worker who is true to his drilling profetion and he may say to you,WELL YOU DRIVE A CAR DON’T YOU?(Yes I do) Well then shut the hell up! I KNOW WE HAVE SOLOTIONS TO OIL CONSUMPTION,AND THEY NEED TO BE IMPLAMENTED NOW MORE THAN EVER! LETS WAKE UP AND REBUILD OUR NATION
How is the beach doing now? We are thinking of going but I would hate to go and end up with skin irritations and other weird reactions to whatever it’s in the water and sand. Have they done anything to clean up that mess? Thanks for any info.

BP is literally burning oil covered turtles, fish and whatever else they pull up in nets. If you get too close, even if ur trying to help, you will b threatened with arrest. HA wat a fuckin joke. As far as im concerned BP should b recruiting eveyr volunteer out there that is willing to help and should paying for the round trip tickets and accomadtions for helping clean up their fuck up! @Surfwtw BP owners should be hung! I know it sounds very `nazi` but` extracting substances like oil from the ground to ultimately burn up into our atmosphere fucking the planet over in the long run is just stupid and wrong! We have alternatives but it would be a costly change and defintely not easy. But yah i think a few less oil billionairs on the planet will help ease the suffering of the individuals affected by this crime!
@floridafun3530 It is Okaloosa Island, right on the other side of the Destin Pass. The pier is about 4 miles away from the Destin Bridge

@Surfwtw I dont know the answer to your question , but I do believe the ones affected financially should compensated. Another sad thing about all this , my wife and I have worked for years, our goal in life was to buy a place on the beach between Destin and Panama City. We are in our mid 50′s now and have the money to buy. All of our children have finished school and this was the year we were going to start looking and possibly buy. Now our retirement plans are shot.

@TheCauseOfWetPanties You know, I think this is the greatest event to ever happen. I am a boat/car mechanic that lives on the Mississippi River. 3 times a week I dump used oil into the river; along with coolant, transmission fluid, etc. Along with giving the water a beautiful sheen, I have noticed the fish are a lot easier to catch and they cook up better on the grill. I am going to the coast in a few days and I am going to shoot me a few of them black greasy pelicans. Oil is wonderful.
