Graffiti and The Funky Blues Shack
Graffiti is one of my and my wife’s favorite restaurants. Graffiti sits right along Hwy 98 in the heart of Destin Florida. The restaurant rests inside a small plaza just down from the corner of Hwy 98 and Beach Dr.
Graffiti is very colorful with their funky paintings and art covering the walls. The restaurant has this upscale, yet casual, and lively atmosphere about it. From what I know the business changed ownership and then taken back by the original owner and I so glad. I was really upset to hear that Graffiti had sold and totally stoked to learn the original owner had take control back. I’ve eaten there twice since and the place hasn’t changed a bit.
Let me just say this, Graffiti doesn’t have the best location in town and frankly the view out side sucks. The parking can be tight and getting in and out is tricky. With that said, the food, service, and prices and excellent. I’ve eaten there many many times and I have never had a bad dish or poor service. The food and menu selection is fantastic and the portions are large. On top of all that the food is comparably cheap.
The day I visited to take some pictures Graffiti was not open yet so wasn’t able to get the photos of the inside which is a must see. I plan to return soon to take more photos and get a copy of the menu.
Graffiti is also home to The Funky Blues Shack. There you will very great live entertainment and cold beverages. The atmosphere is dark and great for partying and having fun. I’ve personally not hung out late enough to enjoy there hospitality but many of other locals do.
