Thai Delights is a great little restaurant in Destin Florida. I can’t remember how many times I’ve eaten there. I would have to say this is one of my top 10 most favorite restaurants to eat at. The food at Thai Delights is to say the least the best. If you leave Destin with trying this restaurant , you have missed out on something special.



Thai Delight is located at the west end of Mountain Dr. which runs parallel to Hwy 98. Its location actually out right sucks. The restaurant shares a small building with the Old Oasis which is a local billiards and beer joint. It’s kinda hidden to the side and somewhat unnoticeable. If I hadn’t of told you it was there you probably would never had known it.

There are many restaurants in Destin Florida where you can enjoy a view of the beach However you will not find one with as much charm as Thai Delight. Although the location is bad and it’s not very attractive from the outside, the inside is the total opposite. The restaurant is clean and simple. White table cloths, candles, and simple elegant wall mounts decorate the small dining area. Not what you would expect next to a pool hall. The restaurant itself seats maybe 50 – 60 guests and the dress attire is casual.

The food is the best part. The menu is made up of typical Thai cuisine with a focus towards seafood. If you don’t see exactly what your looking for they are more than happy to prepare something off the menu. The price is also a great part of the experience. You get fine food with out braking the bank. I highly recommend everyone to try this little Destin secret and suggest you order the fried calamari which is probably the best in Destin.
